AWL nedir? Academic Word List, Aveline Coxhead tarafından 3.5 milyon akademik kelimelik metin incelenerek oluşturulmuş bir listedir. YDS okuma pasajları ağırlıklı olarak akademik İngilizce kullandığından, AWL kelimelerini bilmek sınav başarısını doğrudan etkiler. AWL kelimeleri akademik metinlerin yaklaşık %10'unu oluşturur.
